In-Class #14

Partents helg their son make up with his girlfriend.

One day the parents heard yelling and screaming coming from outside of their front door, which sounded like their son and his girlfriend. All the parents could hear was their son saying I am sorry please do not be mad it just has to be this way, then he walked in the front door. The parents had their son sit down on the couch to take a breather from what had just happened, then they tried to have him explain what happened to him and his girlfriend and why did they break up. The son just sat there in silence not wanting to speak a word of what had happened to him. Finally, after a couple minutes went by, he started explaining why they break up and it was because he needed to think about what he was going to do with school and what he is going to do in his future. The parents tried to convince their son to go tell her why he needed to think and to let her know how he really feels about her and everything in his life. He took their advice to talk to his current ex-girlfriend; they were outside for what seemed like eternity but was only two hours. After their “talk”, he came in holding her hand with a big smile on his face for being about to tell her what he feels and that they can still be together thanks to his parents caring so much about him and his relationship with his girlfriend.

In-CLass #12

My reflection in the film was that I never realized how easily you can copy someone else’s work and not even know it. It makes me think that if an invention can be copied that easy when someone writes a story or says something, could that be considering coping? What draws the line between coping and your own work and how does anyone know if it is coping when someone thinks of it themselves. There are so many questions that come to my head when I watched these films on coping and your own thoughts and /or inventions. I know when I think of some I get an idea from another thing that helps me writing my paper or start brainstorming but I never thought that would be considered coping. I also never thought that if you get your idea from something or someone the making or the person that thought of that specific thing could possible sue you, which just boggles my mind. That makes me think maybe that is someone’s job, suing people for coping or taking ideas from other people. Can I get in trouble for talking about the clips in this blog without their consent? Where is the line drawn either in coping or plagiarism in the United States today? It is just crazy what people would do with things they thought of, would I go as far as suing someone for using my idea or would I think, “hmm maybe my idea will making something better, and I might get money for helping production that specific thing. There are so many different question with many different answers!

A witch, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny break into a museum. What happens?

When walking through the museum one Saturday afternoon, I saw a new exhibit that had a witch, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny in it. They looked to real life I could not believe it. I turned around and started walking to the next part of the museum when I heard a noise coming from the “Holiday” exhibit, so I went back and saw that nothing was there anymore, it was just empty as the clouds. At first I thought I  was dreaming so I pitched myself so make sure then I found out that I was not dreaming and that I had really saw them in the museum, “did they break in?” I thought to myself. So what did I do, I went looking all over the museum to see where they went and what in the world would they break into a museum for. After searching the museum for what seemed to feel like hours like an animal searching for food, I could not find them anywhere. All of the sudden, a witch flew over my head on her magic broom, Santa Clause also flew over on his sled with the reindeer, and then finally the Easter Bunny came bouncing by laughing at me. Then I woke up to my little brother laughing at me for the dream that I had had, and I was talking  in my sleep, which I barely ever do, which I am glad for that.

Prompt: What happens when a man bumps into his former girlfriend while shopping for baby toys with his pregnant wife? he once told his ex-girlfriend: "I'm not the marrying kind."

When the man bumped into his ex-girlfriend when he was shopping for a toy for his baby with his pregnant wife, they just pause in silence and look at each other not knowing what to say to each other. The wife stared the ex-down like she was a monster. When the ex-girlfriend started to speak she says "I thought you weren’t the marrying type John." Then the wife glared her husband down for what his ex-had just said to him. If I was to run into my ex and they said that john you would not be very happy either and to add on to it I am pregnant with my hormones flowing like crazy. John still had nothing to say but look down at the tile floor waiting on Jen, his ex-girlfriend to walk away from them. Eventually, Jen left him and his wife alone so they finished looking for toys for their baby that is on the way. Becca, John’s wife, later that night asked why he told Jen that he wasn’t the marrying kind, and if he wasn’t then why did he marry her. She also asked if he wasn’t the baby type either, trying to get him to start talking about the stuff he wasn’t going to be. He never said a word the rest of the night trying not to make his wife upset with and trying not to make a fight out of this ex-girlfriend saying things. But Becca did not let it going, like another girl wouldn’t

One day Red riding hood was walking through the woods in Georgia on a Saturday afternoon. When he was on his walk he saw a jacket hanging from a tree branch. The jacket was bright red and soaking wet, like it was just pulled out of the river. Red riding hood kept walking, where he saw smoke and then he smelled something very good coming from the east. When he finally found out where that smell was coming from, he found out that it was spaghetti, that a homeless old man was cooking over the fire that was making the smoke he saw a ways back. When the old man noticed Red Riding hood standing a couple yards away, he invited him to come and eat with him. After the two ate their dinner they started to share different stories with each other late into the night, until they fell asleep. When the tow woke up in the morning, they were freezing and the fire was put out by the dew. Then they noticed that their belongings were soaking wet so they decided to hang them up on tree limbs so the wind and sun would dry them. Then the next day red riding hood went on a walk and found a red jacket, the same one he saw from the day before but he did not know it was the same one because he forgets everything he did the day before so he repeats him every day and does the same exact thing with the old homeless man.

In-Class Response

10 Minute Writing Assignment #6

Political overview

My reaction to the election-fueled rhetoric is just to ignore everything that has to do with it. I am not that into politics and government things let alone history things. I have only seen the political things on Face book and the television because I do not have a twitter account and refuse to but that is a different subject, and also I am not that used to the blog things yet to even look up other people’s blogs or a company’s blogs. I have never voted before now have I ever registered because I have no clue on how to do so. My thoughts on the presidential arguments that is going on right now is that there annoying, and everybody has to flight to put there two-cents in about everything someone else says. However, honestly, either president will make good or bad choices, there just doing what they think is best for our country at that point and time. In addition, someone else will think differently on what there chose to do and say. So many people on Face book have started arguing about which president is better and who did this and who did that, and the list can go on forever with politics and everyone's thoughts on who should be president and why. In addition, on who should not be president and why. Either way everyone has their own thoughts and ideas on everything and anything in this world. I just do not like any of the fighting or disagreements and arguments that everything has to turn in to.
